Thanks for looking. ;)

Nice selection of photos. Looks like you really enjoyed your trip. On both the first and second photos I think the editting really improved the photo. I haven't been a big fan of some of the Orton effect photos posted here, but it was really nice on your picture. I loved the pose you captured on the horses, and the blurred background in the edit really focused attention on them. Nice job.
On the cemetery shot, I like the crop on the second shot, but I didn't like the purple tint. My personal taste would have been to keep the first shot with the second crop. People may disagree though.
Hayfields was a nice shot.

I really like the blur effect behind the horses - adds depth to the photo.
I agree w/BB on the cemetery shot.

The colt blur works well....but for me ...a little strong on the color. Good work.

mom and colt blur somehow brings out the colors in foreground. Very nicely done!

Thanks for the comparisons, I like the way blurred came out, seems the first thing I see in the orig. is the barn, the change.. the horses are immediate.
I have to agree on the tombstone shot, Just on the purple though.. the rest of the change is nice.
I really like the hayfields, wish it was a little bigger.

I really liked the original barn best..is the horizon off a bit? The horses is wonderful with the blur, but would tone down the saturation. You did a great job with the tombstones and I like the paper effect. Great post and I too like the before and after comparisons.

I like the 2069 original tne best. I liked looking at the well posed view of the horse and colt , they are really trim and fit, and the detail in the well kept barn. Sorta a pint and counterpoint.
This might look really good as a B&W.

I like the Orton effect in the first, it enhances the colors for me. Does seem a little slanted, tho. The blur behind the horses is great, but it looks a tad over saturated. Not fond of the effect on the tombstones but like the crop. It removed a lot of the distracting background. Over all a nice set. Fun to play with effects, isn't it?

I like your originals, esp the horses, though I would have cropped out the leaning tree.

Orton on Barn is appealing and colt barn blur is improved with less sat. Your hay fields is very effective and wins tonight.

Like the original on the barn, I like both of the horse shots for different resons. Like the crop of the headstones but not the purple tint. Hay fields is awesome!!

I like the O effect of the barn, (not overdone) and the tombstone really appears purple to me(I think would have left that part alone but do like it best otherwise, there was too much 'background' in the orginal.
