I haven't posted anything for quite some time, but I have still been dropping by to check some of the pics being posted. When I saw the current challenge, I decided to share some of the pics I took this spring when the wildflowers were blooming in the Oquirrh Mountain foothills. The wildflowers are all phlox - even if they appear different... They might be different types of phlox, but I'm not sure.

All are nicely composed, I like the third cause I think it has the best exposure.

I'm with Mr. Q, only I'll add to number three having one of the best compositions of the bunch, with the fourth shot trailing directly behind it. I found both the comp. and the DOF in those two to compliment each other very nicely, producing great images.

EMF is right about 3 & 4 for the Phlox.

I have to go with number 4 ... I really like the rustic look of the wood along side the delicateness of the flowers ... I think a little better focus and/or DOF would have made this a much stronger image!! ... As others have said - Well done with the composition (Which most of the time is the hardest part ... Well Done!!)
