I am having fun watching these acrobatic little guys.  They are getting ready to migrate and are eating lots more, plus there are about 8 now.  I had 3 all summer.

Do I have to Share?  the one on the left thinks the feeder belongs to only him.  He has a hard time sharing.  He shakes himself when he is mad.

 backview

It is funny that if I am trying to take their pictures they don't like it, but if I move to another part of the yard, they will follow me to see what I am doing.

Have an Awesome Weekend!  Thanks for looking.  :o)

Robin, what a nice capture in Backview. So natural...... Incoming is a little grainy, but all your shots are a wonderful example of getting good shots of a difficult subject.

  • I like the first and last ones...how do you get them to share??  Mine would never hear of it.  They are just now arriving here for a stop on their migration.

  • I've never had any luck with hummers, so I give you credit for a good job with a difficult subject too!  First and last for me too.

Thanks everyone!  I sit in the yard on my garden stool hold the camera, prop my elbow on my knee and wait for them to get by a flower, that is in my view finder.  My kids think I am crazy, they still haven't figured me out.  lol.  Have a great weekend!  :o)
