I didn't have my shoot thru umbrella yet and came away with some harsh shadows. But that is what family is for....to practice on.

    I don't really know what you mean by harsh shadows--I like Dag Nabbit best, his stance and overall clarity to me.

    Well i guess I am being hard on myself but in a few you can see a hard shawdow coming off his glasses or the arm to the glasses I should say.

    The shadow doesn't bother me and I would expect it. Nice sharp outdoor portraits though.

    I like The Classic the best.

    Love the first one with the 3rd coming in a close second.  It's the only one that the shadow does get a little overpowering on the face, but otherwise the stance and comp are great in it.
