Unfortunately this year I didn't get to get the hardcore fan shots I have in the past. Next year though I will be back to getting the unique individuals that we see there.
Normally the race track shots don't appeal to me. But these were totally different than what I was expecting. Love the B&w treatment. And the empty stands, race track shots, so different than the normal. And now I'm curious to see shots of the hard core fans. Maybe I'll have to go to a race track and see what I'm missing.

Next time you go, try taking pictures of individuals in the stands. I always get a kick out of hard core racing fans. :)

#4 for me...is as though right in car on the race track...in #7 I like how the tires are in a row and the guy seems to be checking them for something.

B&W was a great choice and the quiet shots of track with no people screams of silence. The last shot is super in stark B&W with sweet perspective.
