thank you Dee and Penny, Here is the shot in color: In Flight in Color I always have such trouble with my horizons.. i need to work on that.. thanks for the advice.. have a great sunday... :)
I'm going to go away from the consensus and say I like the sepia. The color seems too saturated for me. I think it's a fantastic shot Ms. Judi and will also disagree with penny. Unless my eyes mistake me, his head is in focus (but I could be wrong). With that and the show of motion in the wings I think it's great. The tilted horizon is there because it was quickly composed and can be overlooked, IMO.
thank you all for the comments... Pat i do have the lines.. ( still tend to have trouble when i am facing the bright sun lol) ..
Ms faerie, I am so excited you like my sepia shot... it was a quick shot , for sure, the seagulls move so darn fast! I have to buy many french fries to bribe them!
what a bird. i can almost feel the breeze under the wings.
imho, i would have rotated the picture a smidge and straightened out the horizion. also, i can imagine the color so why is it in sepia?
neat capture anyway!
love,
d

Both look good. I prefer the color version for its color.

Nice photo. I also have trouble with straight horizons that's why I like Nikon DSLRs can put grid lines on view finder.
