Woke up to quite the storm yesterday morning. It started rumbling and grumbling and when I looked out I saw these neat cloud formations. Before the rain hit, I grabbed the camera and took some shots. I even stood out under the eaves and waited for some lightening, finally got one.

Congrats on the lightening catch! I still haven't been that lucky. I love the first shot and the others with the wavy looking clouds. Those are some wild looking skies. Great shooting Robin

Like you clouds, they change so much so quickly. The contrast and exposure is good, hard to do with clouds sometimes.

you blew me away with the last one! but the first one is my kind of shot! I LOVE clouds and storms! I would have been right there next to you, maybe even jumping up and down out in the rain. Yeah, I'm a nut when it comes to storms! Thanks for sharing yours! Great lightning shot! Been tring for a LONG TIME to catch one. We dont have such wide open spaces here....

Wow on you storm snapper. Cloud3 looks ominous with that swirling eye in the middle. #4 is also a beauty as is your daytime lightning bolt.

Lightning storms and clouds are a photographers freind. I like your first one the best and took a peek with the landscape cropped out. I don't think that the land in the foreground adds to the scene. Your lightning shot is a good capture.

lightning is on the top of my "to shoot" list. it hasn't happened for me yet. i guess you can scratch it off your list and move something else into its' place. fan freakin' tastic capture.
