This post has been something of a problem. When I blew up the thumb to edit it, I discovered an insect pest which I hadn't known was on one of my favorite orchids! Then I found that I'd blown the highlights in the second photo...but I do love that blue.
Gerberas are one of my favorite flowers. This one looks like it's trying to stand up tall. Lovely colors in both shots.

In the second one I like the way the light comes through the soft petal and then the reflection on the green leaf.
