Ashton - I think this is less a landscape than "impressionist art", and I mean that in the best way - I think the vibrant blues and brown/golds are so striking, that it doesn't seem to matter what the picture is "of" - it's beautiful on its own.

@ Kitzi, yes this at lake Buchanan outside of Burnet...the texas hill country. This area of the lake is called the Canyon of the Eagles!
