Burrrrrrrrrp..
Bird On A String
Remember Miss November? She is one of the Anna's that showed up last winter and stuck around. I guess she has kicked the kids out of the house. Both her and her mate are back in the yard and spending a lot of time here. Here she is
sitting on a string that holds up a bunch of wild flowers so they won't fall over. She sits there for hours and watches her flowers and favorite feeder.
A couple of one of the "girls".
The sun came out and one of the girls was feeding pretty hard today. I managed to get a few good shots of her. Same old thing.
Been working too hard and not playing enough other than the kids in the back yard.
My winter population is now up to three with the arrival of another female. When she calms down a little I'll get some shots of her. The new female and "Miss November" are really having it out at the feeder. They get loud enough I can hear them in the house with the windows closed.
I bring the feeders in at night and get them back out well before daylight so they don't freeze and break.
Anyway.. the male (as of yet unnamed)is just
eating when he can and
keeping an eye out for those two loud mouthed females. I'm sure he will catch up to at least one of them (grin).

It looks like nest building chores are comlpete and probably eggs have been layed as the girls were back to feed big time today. Will have little ones soon I hope.
