Sundays at our house are reserved for art, music, food and fun. Anyone can come and enjoy the day....Papa and I await guests while Mama cooks food.

Papa pulls out all his art supplies and piles them on the table.

Uncle Beane arrives...he always makes me  smile.

Everyone does something creative, like  Drawing.

We have dinner and Dessert or  mocha's.

A sudden rainstorm blew in moments ago. I was in the garage when it hit....moving toward the garage entrance I noticed the rain coming in hard and sideways....I was busy thinking about getting my bare feet wet going to the house....rounding the corner I spied two of the most beautiful faces I know peering at the rain through the Storm Door...

I only posted this because of Moose's wonderful tutorial on levels.

Today Ava had a visitor.

Her Mama Laura takes good care of her  bundle.

I just had to try and re-shoot the birth announcement pic. I recently got my baby ring from my mother. I used it and the gold bracelet Smokey's Grandparents gave Ava. What do you think?

P.S. Does anyone know how to add a small light burst on the bracelet using ps?

Smokey ordered me a telephoto lens and a closeup lens for my Sony. They finally came, and I tested the closeup lens when I had my hands free of baby.

I think I need a flash that arcs to get the light over the lens.....Am I right?

Notice they are bottoming out at the lower portion of the lens.

I never understood the rantings of new parents...until I became one. Just a quick one handed post....I do miss you all....but I am.....

After a few sleepless nights we have settled into a routine. She is truly a good baby and so expressive for 4 days old. We are over the moon...and want to sincerily thank our beloved photographica family and our own precious family for being there for us in every way. I know Ava came without problem thanks to all of the positive juju!
