If your fiddling with your camera, studying one scene too long without looking around much, dozing off, or your hiking up a hill a little to quietly, this could happen...You turn around and there's a Bison (or some other wild animal) right behind you and not to happy about you being there. I promise your going to surprise yourself in how fast you can really move or what you consider climbable. I did, lucky for me there was a car with enough clearance for me to slide under. He charged and grunted and hooved at the ground. Mad that I decided to share it with him. This guy definetly wanted nothing to do with having his photograph taken. Well I had my digital camera with me and figured that as long as I wasn't going anywhere and he couldn't get to me I might as well take some pictures. So this is what I ended up with.
Lesson learned always keep a watchful eye!

I took advantage of the fog yesterday morning to hit a few of the farms in the surrounding area. I had a photo in mind and did not really get what I was after, but did get a few interesting shots. Maybe the snow coming tonight will get me the shot I want.
We love to travel across country. This summer this was one of the early photographs I took
Everyone - I've been lurking on the board here for some time and have enjoyed going through the photo journals. The different perspectives (creative and social) have helped me look through the viewfinder with a new attitude. So thanks, and please keep the feedback flowing (good and bad). Jay (thebigdummy) O.
