Where The Blues meet in horizon

Taken in Acadia National Park, Maine.
Acadia is a smallish national park compared to others, but the beauty is unparalleled. If you happen to stay in east coast, don't forget to pay a visit.Best time is during falls .. but as you see in this photo, you won't be disappointed even if you travel during the oddest season (I traveled there in December!).
The Color Blue
Blue because of blue...
When I saw the challenge, I thought it was cool because just saying a colour leaves a lot of room for inspiration. However, I've been having a hard time getting inspired. >.< But today I went around my yard and did my best to take pictures of blue things.

Blue Cat & Blue Jeweled Spider For Challenge
Hi, ya'll. I got to thinking about the present challenge yesterday, and found a couple blue items to photograph. They aren't what you'd normally think of as "blue," but blue they are. Here are my blue astrological cat piggy bank, and my blue jeweled spider. Thanks for lookin', and c&c welcome...and TGIF!!! :)

Blue Challenge

In search of "blue inspiration" I headed to the local plant nursery last weekend. Sure enough, there was blue stuff everywhere you looked. There were blue benches, blue flowers (okay, June tells me that these are actually purple flowers, but they looked @#$@ blue to me, so I think that counts and besides, it's a lot bluer than George's white horse ;-) - judges?). There were blue carts (notice the special one following his own beat), and even blue butts. Yes, blue butts with blue jeans, blue shirts and blue bottles. Honest.
Challenge - Spring Has Sprung
Nature, eh?

Sure, after I post the park pics the challenge becomes nature. Nevertheless, this morning I took up my camera and headed outside; rumor has it that's where nature can most likely be found. I did the stalk-the-yard thing for a while, taking pictures here and there, scaring the bejeez&s outta our neighbors again, when they didn't see me stalking the lone wild strawberry in our yard over by the wood fence, hee hee hahaha!!! (Hubby wasn't home, and our yard was the most natural I could get this morning, you see) So I found a few interesting items, including a slight growthy of something in the bark of one of our trees that looks to me like an open-winged bat. Then again, I could just be thinking of Halloween waaay early...hmmn. Anyhoo, here are the first three. Comments and critiques are most welcome, and thank you for looking. :)

Got together with LeeAnn (Bugaboo) after trying for 3 years or so. And finally getting some photos posted. lol LeeAnn had lots of great tips. She was so much fun to hang out with! I had such a great time and I hope we can do it again soon. We have several ideas of photo outings, hope they work out.

Cumulative Learning . . . .

I took photos from several angles and distances of Hawk's beautiful, pale blue eyes.
I think this one combines both challenge basics - fill the frame, and thirds.

In Praise of Blue

Obviously, blue was abundant at the Boatyard , where a Sailboat or a Fishing Boat fit the bill.
I found a Rivulet of blue in the midst of the mud flats, a bit of blue decorating this year's Sage,
And, of course, I found my thrill on Blueberry Hill
