Thank you Penny, Candice, Bugaboo and others for the challenge to take close-ups of Le Carrousel.  Located in Bryant Park 42nd St and 6th Ave NYC.  The last couple of days have been dreary, but yesterday I took a lunch hour walk over to the carrousel and a whole new world opened for me.  The last time I was there it was packed with people. Yesterday, no one was there, the carrousel was not operating, a perfect opportunity to capture theanimals close up. For wider angle photos check my dashboard.

Seeking the space between the musical notes, Howie and I walk to Bryant Park during our lunch hour.  Located at 42nd street and 5th Ave at this time of year, Bryant Park is a people's watching paradise.  The park is transformed into a free open air skating rink  during the Winter, huge white tents are erected in the park during Spring for the NYC Fashion Show, and later in the Summer the park shows classic movies on a giant movie screen.

It's a nice place to perch during lunch hour.
