Back from Canada

Well, my family and I just got back from Eastern Canada, and ever since our return things have been absolutely chaotic. While we were gone, a pipe ruptured in the wall of our formal living room flooding a good portion of the first floor of the house. Luckily we had very good friends taking care of our cats who were extremely diligent in taking steps to start solving the problem. By the time we returned, half the hardwood flooring and some of the carpet downstairs was ripped up due to extensive water damage. There were also 9 very large fans downstairs drying things out and trying to keep the humidity as low as possible.

I don't have any pictures from our trip uploaded yet, I do have some experimental pictures I took earlier in the summer, and since I'd been gone for more than a week I thought I'd go ahead and share them.

I'm not sure if I like this picture of my Popup Linkcalculator or not. It's a great calcutator and even solves calculus problems, too bad so many of my professors don't allow it...

My brother and I have been Lego fans for as long as I can remember, and the Lego line is now so extensive they even make Star Wars Legos. And we just happen to be huge Star Wars fans as well.Popup LinkLego Darth Vadar

When I graduated from high school, my parents bought me a georgous, mohogany Martin guitar. This is the Popup Linkhead of the guitar.

When I was little I played Popup Linkthe piano. I still try to play now, but my time is so limited, and I have to divide my time between guitar, piano, and clarinet.

A couple of years ago, I did a basement cleanup fro a lady who had lost her husband and was moving to a retirement home. She told me that I could keep whatever I wanted.

Most of the stuff was junk that had been collected over the years. Later on, I came upon this Popup Linkwallet , here's a pic of the Popup Linkinside. Inside of this wallet were original copies of Driver licences from earlier on.
Here's some to see
Popup Link1912 , Popup Link1913,  Popup Link1914 , Popup Link1915, Popup Link1924 and Popup Link1938. I showed them to her and asked her if she wanted to keep them. She told me that she had lots of memories of Arthur and that if i wanted them to go ahead. She passed away about a year later.

I know that these are scanned images but since we were talkin about earlier times I thought this would be OK.

I've Missed you all!!

So recently I went to the Mountain View Conservation Center in Langley, BC, Canada with a group of volunteers from the Woodland Park Zoo.  We had an Popup Linkupclose and personal encounter with Ivan the Indian One Horned Rhino.  Also got Popup Linka bird's eye view of the Popup Linkostrich which was in their African savanna exhibit with several Popup LinkMasai Giraffe.  Before we left, they took us over to see a group of  Popup Linklemurs, which included a Popup Linklittle family with a pair of Popup Linktwins.  There was also a Popup Linkcrowned crane nearby that was just gorgeous.

Hope you enjoy my little field trip!!!
