~ Cheesed & Seven ~

Back on February 7 2010, my Malibu was cheesed.
Just the other day, I was Googleing my son Matt Hoge's name and found this article , about a singer Will Hoge. The image above with the hash marks is his current album .. Then I remembered the car's markings.
EDIT.... Will Hoge's current album 7 was released Septmeber 27, 2011... so the kids who "cheesed" the car in 2010 with those markings knew nothing about the album.
Coincidence wins.
Late

These pictures have been sitting on my CF card since September and I just got them edited a week ago. It's been crazy for me since the end of August with both work and home. But I'm getting them to you now. That's all that matters right?
Well, back at the end of September Michael and I went up to Lebanon, TN for the annual Rat rod show, the Redneck Rumble De Luxe. We've been going for about 4 years now and this things keeps getting bigger. This year it took nearly 4 hours just to walk through all the cars. Since I've been going to this for so long, we see some repeats from the year before and I try to take new and different angles. I've been in a bit of a photo rut most of this year but I got a few I liked. And I'm sorry, but I had to change them to b&w. It just fit. Or maybe I'm in a mood. Who knows ;-)
Thanks for looking. I have more on my dashboard and I'll consider posting them, but I know not everyone enjoys car pictures so I won't force them on you.
Pay attention to the Details

Just unique details on some cars that made them stand out to me.
Thanks for looking, tomorrow I'll wrap up my redneck rumble pictures and we'll head to the county fair!
From the Front

Another round of shots from the redneck rumble. Thanks for all the feedback on my last post, you all are swelling my ego! But I won't let it get out of control.
Sticking with focus on details, I also had a collection of the front ends of the car. All the different hord ornaments catch my eyes, and sometimes there are some I don't recognize.
Thanks for looking! Comments of all shapes and sizes are appreciated.
Bonus: Pat asked about a full length shot of the thumb: Here ya go!
Back to the Rumble

Thanks everyone who commented and looked at my 500th post. I'm so very happy to be able to share all my shots with you. And speaking of sharing, we're going back to the Redneck Rumble. SG, you said something about more subject. Well, these may be to your liking. Again, I was trying to "think outside the box" a little and there are so many customs things in these cars it's amazing not to look at the details. Even if the details are all over the inside of the cars. Which leads to the next installment: Interiors.
Comments, critiques, criticism... whatever you feel like writing, I'll take it! Thanks for looking and Happy Friday!
Bonus: Two in B&W below

The Redneck Rumble

Went to my favorite rat rod car show again this year in Lebanon, TN. I had so much fun, much more than last year and I'm super pleased with how my shots came out. I'm going to try and make these as painless as possible so I'm going to split them up between two different slideshows (hopefully I'll have the other images ready soon to post too).
Let me know if there's anything I can do to improve these, I plan to make my visits as annual as the show itself. Also, thanks for looking! Have a great Monday!

A Bug and Mocha's Suffering

My brother-in-law is a Body Shop Owner. One of his hobbies is restoring old cars. He had his VW that he restored sitting outside this morning so I took some shots of it. This is The Bug. It was a mess when he bought it, but it sure looks nice now.
Last of the Two's

In Frederick Meijer Garden you will find these two statues facing each other. They say that they really don't know the reasoning behind these two men sitting like this.
At the Air Zoo there are these two planes in a dog fight - one is upside down and the other is painted on the mural.
There was also this old Ford in amongst the airplanes at the Air Zoo and I liked the headlights.
This shot is another that caught my eye at the Air Zoo, but it was not an airplane - it was a double steering wheel of an old car. Not everything at the Air Zoo was airplanes

The Turkey Trot...

No barns here these are some pics of the other things we saw while we were out. I'll save the barn stuff for later posts while I'm working on the challenge.
Into the Wild Blue Yonder.
Ancient Chariot.
Feelin' Groovy.
Crimson and Clover.
Head for the Trees, Boys!
Turkey pic is a small part of a larger pic and is not good, just thought you'd like to see the turkeys. All the others are open for comments and criticism. Just remember how sensitive I am.
