Well, after all the rain and flooding we had last week it's good to have a break.
Break in the rain
I had Jaryd yesterday and we went to meet Barb for lunch. We grabbed a pizza and was on the way to the park to eat when I spied this old abandoned church. It was boarded up and all the stained glass was removed. There must be a story behind it but I don't know it.
Last week I thought it would be funny to send a picture of me to all my kids to try and play on their sympathy before Father's day to try and maybe increase the gifts. Unfortunately, Barb came home early and caught me and now all of a sudden it's "not funny" anymore. So, I didn't do it but which one do you think would have worked best?

My wife had her holiday party in downtown minneapolis last friday and I meandered across the street for awhile and took some shots of the church over there. I am still working at getting as smart as my camera, so I don't know how satisfied I am with the exposure in 1-3. I would like to know which version of church1 you like better (I put a less exposed version for the thumbnail). I was very satisfied with how 4-8 turned out. My favorite is number 7 because i almost missed that it was there...it is under the rest of the figures and you can just see it in number 4. Well thank you for looking and let me know what you think.
This is a photo i took of my childhood church. First Presbyterian
On the Kona side of the big island Hawaii, is a small Catholic church known as the Painted Church. Inside you'll find bright colors and murals, all painted by a Father John Velge between 1899 and 1904. This Prist had no art training...but that didn't stop him. Since then they have moved the church further in land and there is some damage to some of the murals.
I shot this Country Church on the way to our Daughter's house on Sunday.
