I just got back from several days in Guadalajara, as part of a delegation with the Idaho State Department of Education. While I was there, I took this photo at a private university that I thought would fit well with the Bi-Weekly challenge. I've written a longer story with a lot more pictures. SPACE SHIP

Whew!  This is a hard one.  I'm fairly new and still getting to know people and everyone has been SO helpful.  But I decided to narrow it down to two people.

The first person to reach out to me and really make me feel comfortable was KayN.  She helped with those first questions, didn't hesitate to give advice in a kind and gentle way.  That made a huge difference.  This was the first time I had EVER shown my photographs to anyone and really had no confidence in myself.  So thank you Kay.  You seem to like photographing critters (I'm still laughing over the racoon) so this one is for you.

The other person is Austinspace.  He has been kind enough to delete the photos I keep messing up in the upload (sorry again!), encouraging with advice on how to fix my scewups, being great at listening to ALL my questions.  John, you did some rainy pictures that inspired this one.  I caught the clouds right before a storm and though of you.  

There are others I could go on about, but don't want to take up the entire page.  So I'll just say thank you.  Your encouragement and advice are always taken to heart and have truely helped me see through that viewfinder in many new ways.

RED CLOUD

 The weather was fantastic today. So i grabbed my camera and went wandering. I started out near a dry  boat rack.  I just couldn't resist the blue sky. more boat rack  The fire department had their truck out on their drive.  Since my 6 yr old is crazy over firetrucks, I asked if I could take some pictures.  They even pulled out the  ladder truck!  (They must have been bored...)  As the day ended,  clouds began to gather.  It was a great day.
