Posting Limits

By coryking written 6/8/08 11:46 AM, published 6/8/08 11:46 AM

You used to be able to post as many stories as you like provided you follow the unwritten rule "No more than a post a day".  We'll now I've enforced this unwritten rule in Photographica itself.

From now on, you cannot publish more than one story in a 24 hour period.  That means if you posted a story this morning at 10am PDT, you will not be able to post again until 10am tomorrow. During this time, you can create a draft of your story; you just will not be able to publish it until tomorrow.

Let me know if you have any questions about this new policy.

An "official" announcement

So yeah.  I've done a LOT of work on the backend the powers Photographica and Arsgraphica.  Most of it is transparent and you shouldn't notice any changes at all.

The important thing is I've merged the two together so account information is shared between the two sites.  This isn't perfect yet, mind you.  For one, both sites show all your pictures regardless of which site it's on.  For another, your preferences and user information are the same on both.  It shouldn't be like that but I've got to call it a day!

So in short:
 - You can edit your own comments (but only those made after yesterday)

 - Your account information, including subscription information and your inbox, is shared between both websites.

 - Some features will behave oddly until I can iron every problem out.

Please private message me if you have any issues.  I can usually fix issues with the website fairly quickly; typically our fine editors will just forward site issues to me.
