My granddaughter has a great love for animals.....I call her Ellie Mae  in training.

This will be my last post for a week....I'm heading off for places unknown in the morning and will return next Wed. night.  I hope Jo3 doesn't take over while I'm gone....I'd like to be able to recognize this place when I get back!  And, puh-LEEZ don't let Cherish paint the whole place pink....don't think I could take it!  Y'all have a great week.....hope you enjoy my pics!

I've been trying to capture one of these guys for a long time...they always fly off when I get close.  This morning, I was able to get a few shots off.....I think they are called green night herons.  If I'm wrong on that, please correct me.

I looked outside today and couldn't believe my eyes!  George was eating with the birds!  By the time I got my camera and got outside, the birds flew away, but George was still chowing down!  I don't get it.....I keep him supplied with carrots and salad....this is one strange rabbit.....

I have two more to thank today; still not done....
Rockadee's love for nature and animals is very apparent in his photographs.  And, since I am a lover of both, taking pics of them is a great joy for me.  Thank you,  Rock, for your love of  nature, and I  strive to be half as good as you!
Something else I've not been comfortable with photographing has been cars/bikes.  ClassyShots has helped me a lot with pointers on what/how to shoot.  Thank you, Classy Shots for all your help!

My husband just got back from a week in E TN; it was great to go home!  Going on "vacation" with someone who doesn't share your love for photography isn't very ideal....the shots I wanted to get, needless to say, didn't get taken.  I did, however, get shots of a visiter we had at the cabin.  Rocky Raccoon
