Yes, there's grease on the floor and there's grease on the tables, but.... Oh, my such savory pulled pork..

One more for the challenge, courtesy of an offshore high.

My 14 year old grandson took this shot of the flag (catching the wind) as the sun was setting over our town. He's getting pretty good at picking out his shots. Guess who's getting a camara for his birthday!100_0817

While driving to South Dakota and really bored on the long stretch of Hwy 90 I saw this flag and had to stop. It is not too often I pay attention to things blowing in the wind but the challenge had me looking. I liked how plain the sky looked but now looking at the pictures I wish some nice clouds were in the sky instead.
And I included some extras that really ticked my Lhasa Apso off while taking the pictures.
by, Ms Judi Windows we all love them... We all have them! They frame the view from the outside world and provide a frame for the inside world. They are a perfect vehicle for reflecting light and projecting light. Let's celebrate them.
Thank you Swat for your great arts and crafts challenge and for electing me for this one. For the next challenge , I nominate lefteyeblind, our Ms Pam.
Good luck everyone, i look forward to viewing your windows. Blessings, MsJudi

You're a Grand Old Flag
You're a grand old
Flag; you're a
high-flying Flag ,
And forever in peace may you wave,
You're the
emblem of the land I love,
The home of the
free and the brave.
Every heart
beats true for the red, white and blue,
Where there's never a boast or brag,
But should auld acquaintance be
forgot
Keep your eye on the grand old
flag.
It's been a while since I've posted. Life has a way of interfering with our hobbies, etc. Took this last night, at work. Hope you like.....

....to take pics at a cemetery. Ok, y'all...I need help on how to do this; what am I doing wrong? I didn't feel like I was trespassing this time, at least! As before, if I photographed any of your relatives/friends, I meant no harm.
Today we took a walk over the brooklyn bridge and here are the pics we took.
On Thursday, October 6, 2005, the Boy Scouts and American Legion members of Ozaukee County, Wisconsin, properly disposed of the U.S. flags that had become worn and faded over the past year. Although the quality of the images in this gallery is poor, I hope the subject matter is strong enough that I will be forgiven for putting it here where more will see it instead of in the Photo Journal section. It will be interesting for any that have never witnessed this act. Thanks for understanding. (Oh, for a camera with a higher iso!)
Farewell my Friend
It was very foggy this morning; great day for a walk! I didn't get very far before I turned around and went back home to get my camera. I hope you enjoy the gallery; it even has some ~shudder~ spiders in it.
