As I was uploading these shots I was watching my Orioles at my feeder.  Until this year I had never seen the whole oriole family at my feeder at one time.  I had the male & female and three juveniles on it at one time.  I couldn't get my camera quick enough to get a shot....dang it....  But here are some shots of a baby on the feeder.  It was funny watching them come to the feeder for the first time.  They weren't quite sure how it worked.  1   2   3   4

These shots were taken the same day as the oriole shots.  5  6  7  8

Now this shot I know is not great by any means but I thought it was funny.  This little guy was sooooo tiny and it just looked funny to me.  So here it is....

There are three things to do with AIR in Popup Linkthis photo.  All of the guys are in the Air Force, notice the airplane in the background, and this guy is getting some serious airtime.  I was commissioned to photograph this 3 on 3 basketball tournament as part of a military morale booster.

In other news...Popup Linkanother duck shot and Popup Linka golf shot I took at a base golf tournament recently.

Some landscape shots from southern England that I took a month ago: Popup Linka lake in Beaulieu village, Popup Linkthe Calshot beach and Popup Linksome lime cliffs. I shot the last image from a little airplane (a Piper), flying over the coast - a really exciting trip.

Morning Skies over Ter Aar

Sometimes when you miss your bus early in the morning, it's a good thing to have your camera handy. I never quite realised how nice the Popup Linkmorning Popup Linksky looks in my own town. I guess it's partly because of the vapor trails the numerous airplanes leave behind them. Even the Popup Linksunrise looks almost like an explosion because of it.

This is my first post here, and I am kind of new to the whole photography thing, so any comments are welcome.

I took photos of the University's Bookstore Children's Program on Saturday. The theme was "Taking Flight" and featured Popup Link paper Popup Link airplane Popup Link making. Then, the kids tested their planes for Popup Link accuracy through a hoop. Following a distance contest, some put on a brave Popup Link face in defeat. And to both winners and losers there were airplane Popup Link cookies to eat, starting with the wings.
