Spaz, Don & Codi for the Challenge
Good morning. I've got 5 photos I took with my Virgin Mobile Rumor Touch cell phone. The first 3 I may have cheated on...I cropped 2 of Spaz, and changed the color of one. The photos of Don and Codi are as is, though, I didn't change a thing. I was having trouble uploading the pics from my cell this morning, so I used the micro memory card from the cell, plugged it into my comp, and downloaded them. When I looked at the ones of Spaz...well...I had to, I just couldn't resist trying to make them a little better. I'm sorry if this is cheating. I must say, though, this certainly is a fun and challenging challenge...I am enjoying it! C&c most welcome...I can take it. Thanks for looking at these. And have a great Friday!

Sunday evening 1
**** Happy 18th Anniversary,Dear !! ****

Janet and I met at my best friend Tim and his wife Cindy's wedding May 10th 1986. Actually, we had met months before, but just in saying hi at the local church we went to. After the Sunday night singles class, a lot of us would go out to the restaurant Coco's and eat and/or drink. I met Janet there one day...she thinks I don't remember...I do. Cindy and I had known each other for a long time. Tim and I were also friends, too. Janet and Cindy were friends too...we just didn't know each other.
But at my best friends wedding,I sang for them in the wedding, then came the reception... didn’t see her then. But after the reception, a group of us including the bride and groom and their brothers and couple other friends, went to a bar(which has since closed down) called The Ram (It was on Watt Ave near Fulton. It's now a Cingular wireless office.) We ate food, talked, Janet sat next to me, and we talked just in general... then the group decided to go to Bobby McGee's (also no longer there) and go dancing. We walked out the door of the Ram, and she had said that she was cold... I took off my jacket and placed it over her shoulders, and sparks flew in her heart (she told me this much later.) We went to the nightclub Bobbys. Janet and I fast danced and boogied our asses off...then a slow dance came. She took her hair pin out, and ALL OF THIS HAIR came down ..OOOOh my goodness.... I snuggled right into her shoulder/neck...and we just hit off ever since then. Tim and Cindy came back from their honeymoon and were told that we were going out. "Bob and Janet? That's odd!!"
We became really close to each other. Here is the first photo taken of us, from my Canon AE-1, sitting on top of my camera case. We continued to go to church together, and shared good times with each other at the ocean. Janet had married before, and has two wonderful boys. I love them dearly.
I had asked her to marry me midnight of February 13th/14th 1987 on my knees at Marie Calendars. Tim and Cindy were there, they knew this was the night. Tim had brought a camera and left it in his car. I kept looking at my watch. Soft music was playing, and then the workers at the bar changed the music to loud rock and roll. This wasn't good. I went up to the bar and asked them to change the music, cuz I was going to ask her to marry me." Oh really, hey..'' they said in a whisper to the rest of the bar.." He's going to ask her to get married." So they changed the music. The minutes passed by. Tim said he had to go to the bathroom, and left. But in fact, he went outside to his car and got his camera, came back inside and hid behind one of the booths. I saw him and gave him the thumbs up. I had my right hand in my pocket on the ring box. It was 11:58…then 11:59. Damn, I was nervous. There were 20 seconds till midnight, 10 seconds...3...2...1... Cindy got up and left, I dropped to my knees and said Will you marry me?
There was silence in the room as time stood still for me. With a glow in her eyes that I had never seen, she looked at me with a smile on her face, and said yes. The whole bar erupted in applause and cheers !!! Tim started taking pictures from behind the booth. He then came closer, another photo was taken which is one of my favorites, and we started our life as a happy couple. We were married on August 28, 1988, and it's been heavenly bliss ever since!!!
We went to Lahaina, Maui for our honeymoon. There is a road around the entire island called The road to Hana. Hana is a town on the east side of the island. And just near there are the Seven Pools of Hana. See the second falls in the back? Janet and I went there with the group we were with. We were swimming in the pool, and one other couple wanted to take our photo. They did, and they offered to send us a copy. We didn't have anything to write with... so what I did was take a leaf and with a stick, I wrote our address by pressing the stick on the leaf and it would leave a darkened image. I had to give him several leaves, cuz our address at the time was on Manzanita Blvd! Months later.... this arrived in the mail!!!
Today is our 18 year anniversary, and I couldn't be happier! Thank you Janet for such a wonderful life with you... you have given me so much to live for,and you are the love of my life!

Well, as Kay mentioned, we went accessory shopping this weekend. I went to a party where we played some board games. Here's some photos with my new flash...

So, how do you get a cat to come to you and sit in your lap? Get out the Sunday paper and try to read it, of course.
Aren't I Sweet?
Oh, were you reading this?
Oh well, live with it
AN HISTORIC ACCORD & PEACE AGREEMENT

Coronado Island, California
At the conclusion of a summit conference where a long-standing dispute between the U.S. Army and the U.S. Marine Corps was debated over draft beer at the Coronado Brewery, an historical settlement was announced.
Two famous veterans pounded out (or drank) the final draft, whereby it was agreed that each side is free, at any time, to claim being the superior force.
Thus ended the negotiations between Surferguy & Colbb
It wasn't your typical Wednesday afternoon...

and as a side note... Dirk Bag and FUBAR.. your Mom and Dad are really wonderful people...
To Grandfather's House We Go

A great day with an old friend and new friends.
Explaining Myself

I am a Student at Arizona State, but I am originally from Long Island, New York. All my life I have loved to swim, so it isn't all that surprising that I became a Life Guard as soon as I was old enough. I am a proud auntie to 9 neices and nephews. I am also a relatively new mommy. My friends are really important to me.
I really love music. After seven years of loyalty as a fan I nearly died when I met this musician last year.(You get brownie points if you can tell me who he is.)
As for me I'm half
shy and quite, and half nutz.
Photography is the passion that brought me here so I am really excited to get to know you all a little better.
Smiles and Chuckle
