Wim and I have been here for two days now and we love it here.  This is our fourth visit, but it is the longest one.  Yesterday we went through the State Park and then went shopping and ended the day by going to the Nashville Express Opry - a 3 hour concert.  Today we drove from Nashville to Burlington and then south around the park.  When we drove north again we went through Story which is a little colony type village - mostly an inn, restaurant, and gallery.  Tonight we go to the Opry again.

Bonus Shot.  Not the best because I am MOM and was having a heart attack when he did this.  I thought he was going to jump the other skateboard not jump on it and ride both.  He is going to drive me crazy......

Still too hot to go on an adventure, so took some shots at home.  I am watering my flowers twice a day because of the heat.  Found this Little Guy lounging in the shade of a caladium leaf.  Hope he enjoyed the shower he got before I noticed him!

came acrossed this tinytoad and was amazed by its texture.  i don't have a macro setting on my new camera, had to use the zoom at 4ft away so secondpicture isn't very focused, but it shows just how small he is.

One day while out walking by a stream I heard this little voice calling me.  Welcome to my pad. Could this be my dream prince?
I wasn't about to find out.
Later, in the autumn, I joined an old friend walking down a Pine Needle Covered Road.  I spoke softly to the bird and we walked quite a ways together before it decided it was safer in a tree.  I was left to continue my journey alone.
Ahhhh memories of when it wasn't cold outside.  

Decided to check out the creek by my place. It was very quiet and clear . As I made my way down the bank towards the weeds . I saw a turtle swimming away. I looked down and saw the head of a frog . There were many rocks and moss in the water. There was a tree stump sticking out of the water. I also saw a mushroom growing on the side of a tree. I took one more pic before I left. And is you look closely there another frog looking up at me.

Lets' start with the pets, there's Kiwi the cat then there's Rocky the the dog and then there's Chuckles and Speedster the hamsters. I also have a pic of a frog in the water.
We can't forget about my Favorite T-Shirt ,isn't it funny.
Boy I'm hungry for Tacos. Looking down I saw something  nasty lying there. I also saw a weed growing out between the stones.
