We had a fun filled day at the mud bog.  It was a little dry but they still found enough mud to play all day.  I also realized I am too old for this stuff.  I went for a ride in four different trucks and now I have bumps and bruises and feel like I got hit by one of them.   But dang was it fun!  Now the question is "will my clothes ever come clean?"

Remember when you were young and thought those prizes you won at the fair were great?  Remember the feeling you got playing the numerous games? (this one shot from the hip)  Remember spending a lot on something that really didn't cost much? All the bright characters luring you in? Being a kid at the fair was such an exciting time.  Now with my camera I  looked at a lot of things with excitement again!  There were fun things everywhere. So when the fair comes to town, go...with your camera! You will look at things again like when you were a kid. Feelings you used to get when you used to play games and winning those chintzy prizes.  

I met up with Lilbit at our county fair on Thursday.  Talk about a ton of photo ops.  Here is some of what I got.

My friend asked me to go to a karaoke contest with her that she was singing in. I told her I would go for moral support.  During the breaks the announcer would sing songs.  I was amazed at what I saw.  Two teenagers dancing actual dances.  They were having so much fun and boy were they Puttin' on a show.  

For the competition the boy sang songs by people like Frank Sinatra and the girl sang a variety.  Her last one was a Bette Midler song.  BTW she won $500 first place for the competition.  I hope you enjoyed the post these are my first storyboards.  Thanks Lilbit and Lidljo.

In the mud today!   Everyone had a great time today.  Except when they had to  work on thier trucks. Not a clean way to spend the day!  But a  lot of fun. There were several different kinds of trucks.  They really hate when  this happens.  Everyone was there to see the mud fly. Some of the truck were really big. Some weren't.  This  little guy enjoyed the mud to the fullest! I was glad I actually ended up getting to ride with a friend.  I loved it!  These guys asked us for a fishing pole. This is what kind of fun you can have after a lot of rain.  All you need is a field a mudding truck and a bunch of rednecks who just want to have fun!!!

Drug

     Today I got some  morning frost pics with a nice reflection.  The grass was white with frost and the water so still.
     Then I took the kids to my parents house.  I was wandering around their shed snapping  shots.  When I realized I was  being watched.  These  little critters were so cute.   They had fun playing  peek a boo.  
My son was  jumping  into the leaves.  He had a lot of fun!
I also took some other random shots.  Pear
I was surprised to see these    still blooming. Old and new they were beautiful.  All in all it was a beautiful  fall day.
