Got up early to watch the sunrise.  Wasn't any clouds, so spectacular it wasn't.  While just sitting, enjoying the peace and quite, some geese flew by desturbing me.  After the sun came up, I noticed all the dew. So, droping to the ground, I took this shot of dew. Didn't notice the spider & web until I got back home - sometimes you just get lucky.  On the back to the car, I passed this peaceful pond.

When my house full of company left I stepped outside to say goodbye and saw this beautiful sky.

Then I turned to go back into the house and heard this noise in the sky and saw this - Geese Flying in a V in a hot sky.

Thought that I would help cool you down with my thumbnail.

Finding geese in town is easy, go to the golf course; but today I actually found ducks!

First for the reflection shot... The bird bath was just starting to freeze over this morning. Yes the hummer on it is a fake ;-) Now on down to the river for a goose or three. And last... one of my  Anna's Males is back and feeding. Not the best shot but he is real camera shy. If he sees me out there it is a game of tag from one feeder to another.

You kids all play nice now. I'm taking off to the south coast and will be back friday. My wife is over there already and she called me today to tell me that there was a male Rufous at the feeder hanging from the outside mirror on the motor home. Beach photos and hummingbirds too. It should be a good four days.

I was going through more negs and ran across these, thought I would post'em. Feeding geese and company's coming

Even though I haven't been able to get out and shoot for awhile I thought I would give you a not by the rules taste of my area(I live in Concord,NC and work in Charlotte). So,I have a few pics from both spots. These were taken with a point n shoot camera that I was trying out at the time. From my living town are these shots from a memorial garden with these pink flowers and thislion head. This is the  Concord airport that I shot handheld through the fence in low light (excuse the quality). This is a view of Charlotte from  Marshall park and another view . A few park residents.A shot taken at dusk. I figured I would take the assignment opportunity to show y'all around at least a little as I have really enjoyed seeing all of your towns. These were taken a few years ago and don't have some of the newer hi-rises in them. Just included that in case anyone wants to be picky(lol).

I went out driving yesterday and got some really good reflection shots; tried to load them on the computer and the disc had an error on it! I had lost the ones that I REALLY wanted to submit! To say I was ill is an understatement! Anyway, that out of the way, here's what I had LEFT after the error. window at the park Reflecting on childhood days. Different view of pond reflections.
