The Huntington Beach 3/1 Foundation hosted a fund raising golf tournament to help support the Marines & Sailors of their adopted battalion, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division.

I gladly complied with their request to shoot the event, and enjoyed the day, visiting with brother Marines and the golfers.

For this post I have selected 4 of some 150 shots.

I went golfing for the first time yesterday...my friend Jason asked me to go...so I went. This is one shot of the Course...it's the 3rd hole.
I am so pround of my Score...for 9 holes it's not bad. when I got home it was getting towards  Sun Set.It was a great day to be out.
NOTE: I only had time for two shots...it was busy on the course...next time.

Well, someone has to live here!  This December has been unseasonably warm in northern California.  We have been forced to golf almost every day #3 , as we read about blizzards back east.  The golf course (Gold Hills in Redding, Calfornia),   #18 ,as seen  from our house on the course our house , has been unbelievable #2 Green !!!

Some have even joked that people are paying lots of money to go to Hawaii Kauai while we enjoy the weather here.   Reeds .  

Like they say in Kauai Princeville Golf Course in Kauai  , "Just another day in Paradise"....

On my way to work I get a chance to view the sunrise. Yesterday it was beautiful. I played with these with my Picassa photoshop. I would like to know your opinion. Otter and KayN, I tried to get back to you within the 24hrs but got booted off twice. Then the week took me other places.
