The next 2 photos were taken on my street that I live in the city of Niagara Falls. My son saw this hawk catch its meal and landed in the tree across the street from our house. closeup_of_hawk_ Then the hawk flew to the dead tree a couple of houses away and that is when I got this shot. framed_perfect_hawk
I looked up the type of hawk and found out by the tail feather stripes that it is a Broad Wing Hawk, Juvenile.
I used my Nikon 70-300mm VR lens. For photos like this is why I got the lens.

My Dad and Mom used to dabble in a little woodworking; they never had the tools like you'd find in a work shop, but they had enough to do what they wanted to do. They didn't make much stuff, just a few things. I only have one of the things Dad made; it is a
