so i went to the hospital with my friend when she had a kidney infection and took some pics..

I feel like I've been gone forever... It was just three days in the hospital, but when you're not the one sleeping, it's like a year.

So what does a photographer do when he's bored?

This one plays with Perspective!! (or is this called DOF?)

When that was no longer interesting I messed with Long exposures at Night and seeing what control I had over Manual Focus with my point-and-shoot camera.

The next day, with the wind blowing hard, I took about 30 shots before I finally got the American flag AND the POW flag both standing at the VA Med Center next door.

(And I'll spare you the 2 hours I spent messing around with f-stop and shutter speeds... about 75 pictures later and I'm still no wiser!)

I brought my camera to work Sunday to take pitures of the weekend staff. We are putting together a scrapbook for the Director of Nursing, she is retiring soon.Lots of excuses for not wanting pictures taken..I look horrible today....I just had my hair dyed and its too dark.....I don't want to be in the scrapbook.....
Anyway I managed to take these sign shots along the way.
After you do this job for awhile you become UNBALANCED !
Our building is 160 beds and three floors high so we must be prepared for fire fire out .

After 15 years they finally did some work to my work area like; fixed floor
Before and After . They had to cut up the floor to install new drainage pipes . They also put a drain by the door . They also fixed up the hallway floor . Here's another pic Floor . The floor is now non-slip even though it looks shiney.

Here's a picture of my workplace from the air . There are 11 buildings in all. This picture was taken in 1985. So there are more changes now that you will not see in this picture. Hopefully someday I can get another aerial photot done.
