Just a couple of shots

By mercedes written 9/18/06 11:04 AM, published 9/18/06 11:04 AM

I have had a hard time getting out and being creative lately. I'm almost even tired of taking pictures of my son, almost. I though this picture of Aiyana's Popup Linkbirthday party was cute. I took this at Iao valley, it's the  Popup Linkceiling in a pavillion there. Finally I thought this would work well for the  Popup Linksymmetry theme.

Family through lensbabies

By Arddwyn written 8/20/06 10:10 PM, published 8/20/06 10:10 PM

I was lucky enough to get my Lensbabies just the day before I left on vacation to see my family. Good thing, because everyone from my Popup LinkGrandma, to my  Popup Linkcousins had to put up with me while I tried to learn how to use it.
My two most frequent photography victims were my little Popup LinkNephew and  Popup LinkNiece.
It was fun learning how to use it and trying it out with anything from Popup Linkbabies, Popup Linkfamilies, and even a few  Popup Linkboats at a fishing village.

So what do you think of this

My Pictures and My Life

By emailme33800 written 6/28/06 3:39 PM, published 6/28/06 3:39 PM

I take pictures by the dozens.  I get a few out of each one hundred that I take.  I love taking pictures of anything.  Sometimes I just snap away at one tree.  It is amazing what you see when one previews those pictures.  We do not stop to see the little creatures and blades of grass.  Pictures bring those things to mind.  Take some pictures today and see what is in the background.....be surprised.

Coming home from the playground

Here is a shot I took of my boys Popup Linkwalking together.

I never seem to be able to get a "walking away" shot that is an "awww" shot...usually it's more like, there is the back of someone, why would you photograph that?  One of my friends has these awesome pictures of her son walking away and they look artsy and cute.  Mine hardly ever come out that way, but I like this one because Kieran is looking back over his shoulder.

New Mexico

By kristyk written 5/5/06 6:49 AM, published 5/5/06 6:49 AM
I love taking pictures here in New Mexico.  Here are a few of my recent favorites:

Popup LinkSunset:  this was taken in northern New Mexico, an hour south of Farmington.

Popup LinkWhite Sands:  This has to be one of the most photographed spots in the state.  It is gorgeous, but the glare!  It is tough [at least for me] to get a good picture.  Luckily, I live close enough to go all the time.  My kids love it, although Popup Linkgoing up isn't as much fun as Popup Linkcoming Popup Linkdown!

Popup LinkRio Grande:  Fishing is one of our favorite things to do and we often go camping on the Rio Grande, south of Caballo Lake.  This picture was taken just as the sun was going down.

I hope you enjoyed a little look at the world I live in.
