OK... I don't do this normally but the shoulder is still AFU and I can't carry my gear around. This means you get a repeat post. There are a lot of new users that haven't seen these anyway.

Playing On The Freeway
Well above the freeway anyway.

I'd been wanting to try this with my digital for a long time. I shot some years ago on film but there is so much guessing involved. All shots with my 20D and 50mm F 1.8 lens. ISO 100. The time period was from just after sunset until fall on your rear dark. Taken from a freeway overpass.

If you decide to try this... do NOT drop your camera. You will mess it up! Wear light colored clothes so you don't get your butt run over by someone on the overpass.

Sorry about the summer rerun. I'd rather have been able to go shoot new ones.

On Christmas Eve, a childs mind is spinning.  The tree lights become a Popup Linkwhirl of color.  Everything starts to Popup Linkchange color and form.   Waiting patiently for the night to end, and morning to start is not an option.  In case I don't get the chance to post again before the holidays, Meyy Chrismas, Happy Hanukah, Happy Kwanza, and Happy Festuvis to all of you.

Saturday we went to my sons football game.  Before we left the drive-way I took this shot of this Popup LinkMonte casino aster.  It was so colorful I couldn't resist.  Then we were on the road.  We got stuck in construction and saw a worker who looked so Popup LinkBored.  While we sat there for quite some time we got to see  Popup Linkthese.  Then once we got going this is what we saw these  Popup Linkfor miles.  I took this  Popup Linkat the game.  Then this was the Popup Linkfinal score.  The boys were so excited! On the way home my hubby stopped on a little side street/drive so I could take some shots of  Popup LinkLake Superior Popup LinkLake Superior 2.  Then my hubby and son needed to stop at Wal-Mart and I had to take this Popup Linkshot.  After all that is where all my money goes!  Enjoy.

I was thinking about what to post today as I was reading the posts from others. I'm sure, I'm not alone ..because alot of others have said it in many different words ..that this sit is a great place for us who share something in common. We share, we appreciate, we comment and we kid around ...it's for me, a place like my life..but at my finger tips. Reading pyro's post today..like some ,we know it's not what others say whlie they pat you on your back..because they might just use their other hand to stab you in the back. So knowing that.... where do I get my my motivation...in my,.. certifiction..Popup LinkDegree..In the end , their only worth the paper their written on. I'm sure when my Dad died..in his last moments he wondered..What did I accomplish, was it on my wall?..No Dad, it's in our hearts....Popup LinkYou mattered..My storie title  is Close ups & motivation.. Do right as I can in life is my motivation, and the close up.. Well the close up is checking my heart..looking real close to see if I can be more..more of what really matters... a person who tries...

Now a couple of pics, one from last night. One I stole the Idea...It's my demon.....  Popup Linkhealth. The other I took at the baseball game..while I was taking it a man stopped and twisted his head to veiw what I was shooting, and he asked " what are you taking a picture of ?" I said, the pole..what else?..Popup Linkpole.

And we all have fun talking about the kind of camera we have, or want...and in our opions their the best..I wanted to share my first camera...it's in two parts...first is my eye..which God gave me, and blessed me with the best lens that could be made. The second is this... Popup Link1st camera...when I was a kid I took some pretty good pics....  :)

and with Popup Link reflections...This first shot was taken in Las Vegas last weekend.
That is the Stratosphere, reflecting in the pink windows of Circus Circus.
I wanted to make a gallery of the next few shots, but I guess some of them are too big to go in a gallery...
