Turns out the lomos don't work. I got them in a bulk of 3 on ebay.. the one my boyfriend retained does work, the two I got do not. Oh well I guess. The Anyway, due to the loss of two things I've anxiously anticipated for over a month [the shipping from Russia to here took THAT long] I was a little too bummed out to take pictures. So I just decided to throw in two leftovers from this week. I hope you like them.

Here are a few of my Lomo pics using a Lomo LC-A.
I've been watching the Lomo and Vignette pic's that have been posted lately. So I had to try.
I set out one day to practice taking shots with my built in flash (because the camera's still a bit new.) Stone Mountain has a nice "plantation" area with old buildings and antique furniture, which I guessed would make for half decent subject matter.
These were all shot, cept 1, at 10mm. Shot RAW, Converted to B & W in RAW and a Red Filter applied. The first two are what I call Shoe Tip Photos that sometimes work sometimes don't. I put the camera on Manual Focus and focus out about 2 ft. Then I place the camera on top of my shoe and just shoot. No framing, nothing, about 1 out of 20 come out but it's fun cause I don't know what I got till I get home.
I thought I would try my hand at this as well.
You know for about 7 Months now, I have been helping Lilbit out with her Photography. If she has a tech question, she asks me and I try to give her the right answer cause she is so willing to learn everything she can about photography. But it is not a one-way street. Lil has taught Me the other side of photography. The artistic side. I'm OK on the tech side but quite honestly I am weak on the art side and Lil has shown me so much about Art and about some Great Photographers and about some amazing artistic techniques when it comes to Photography.
Just for fun I bought a Lomo
Raindrops on a windscreen. Used Lomo filter and Sharpen Mask! ^__^
I just posted a few pictures from my trip to Chicago last October. Here are a few more from that same trip, except these ones have been made to look like they were taken by a Lomo. Let me know what you think, your feedback/comments are appreciated:
My parents asked me what I wanted for my birthday, and I told them, "A lomo."
Less than 4 hours after returning to my home town from a few months in a place with no culture or nightlife, I managed (despite numerous Martinis & countless beers) to hold my Lomo steady enough to get
