Now for the really fun shots!

See no Evil. Speak no Evil. Hear no Evil. ROCK ON!

Sometimes you just need a swift kick in the rear to really get the shoot Jumpin'!

It never fails that you have one Diva in every group...

I'll see if there aren't a few more I want to put up, but for the meantime that's all I have for my rock band shoot.  Hope you guys enjoyed and thanks for all the comments!

Back Yard Train

I work with a guy who has devoted most of his life to model railroading. I believe this is called "G" scale. The cars are about 18-20 inches long.

These were taken yesterday, freehand, in 34 degree temps, with the train moving. With the exception of the first shot, all that was done
was auto-levelling, and cropping.

I was kind of surprised at how life-like
a few of the shots turned out after I
cropped them. Hope you like, and I
apologize for so many pix....

Half the Sky Foundation Fashion Show

Today we attended a fundraiser for the Half the Sky Foundation, which is a nonprofit that works to improve orphanages in China.  The main event was a fashion show.  This is the first time I've taken pictures at a fashion show.  I've posted a gallery of the pictures I shot. I used a combination of flash and no flash pictures.  I pushed the ASA to either 1250 or 1600.  When using flash I used the diffuser head. This is my first attempt at using a Gallery. I figured this would be a perfect application for it. I've done some cropping on these to cut out the heads in front of me. I've not done much portrait or model work before so I'm interested to hear any constructive feedback.
