When my wife and I had the holiday party last weekend, we shared the camera. I borrowed it for a while to shoot the church across the street.  I thought I'd share a few of her pictures.  We got a lot of shots between the two of us, and I thought I'd share some of my favorite ones that she shot.

I want to do a series of people drinking out of straws...I have a theory that it is impossible to look 'tough' drinking out of a straw.  In any case, here is me: ty_straw

On the way home, we were stopped next to one of my favorite murals: the love_power church.  

Yesterday we had a little storm, or at least, a heavy shower. I thought we might get a rainbow so I went out on the porch with the camera but no rainbow. So, I took these instead, from the back porch, handheld, natural light, where it's dry!

Rode Hard, Put Up Wet The people behind us pasture a couple horses behind our property.  He was getting poured on... even some hail never fazed him.

I took Barb to work today and she told me she needed to go get donuts for her workers but she couldn't leave till 7:15 after she gave everyone their assignments.  So, I went and got a coffee at Hardees and checked on the mural next door.  The mural looks like it's finished I took a shot but it was still kinda dark out and the lot lights are on. Still raining as you can tell.  The Boys & Girls Club is located right on US41 about a block from US40 and across the highway from Indiana State University, so a lot of people should see it. I drove over and took another shot from across the way to place the mural a little better.  I'll take some more and some closeups when it's nicer.

The frustrating thing about the mural is, I never got a chance to catch the artist there so I could talk at him. But not as frustrating as this! Barb is the housekeeping supervisor at the University Family Housing Apartment buildings. So when I go back to pick her up I'm telling her that the guy looks like he's done and I never did catch him.  
She says "Yeah, he left yesterday".
"How do you know that" I say.
"He was staying here in one of our guest apartments" she replied.
"Barb, during the last 3 weeks when I've been trying to catch the guy there, did you ever think I might like to know he was staying here", I asked.
"Nope, never thought about it", she innocently replied.
Now that is what's really frustrating about it...

 I haven't had the spirit to want to shoot lately..do to many things, one stands out to me..it's rained here for about 28 days out of the last 30...so THAT DIDN'T HELP! So I finally got out and took a couple quick one's. This is on a wall in downtown Chico..a little faded, I hope they recondition it...Bikers
