I used some old pictures and took some new ones for this theme. I tried to include shots taken with several different cameras, including my digital Olympus, Polaroid, Polaroid Spectra, and new Canon Rebel [film]. Enjoy!
What the? How a pig becomes pork.
Do you see what I see? Our oldest daughter took this picture. We had broken down in the desert with no water and almost no tools. My husband had worked all day to get the truck running. I was so relieved! I gave him a big hug without realizing that she had the camera.
Is that legal? What kind of babysitter lets a four month old smoke?!
It is the
little things that make me happy!
My better
half.
Echo gets
sticky at the skate park.
During our last camping trip, the kids had a contest to see who could keep this little guy
on the edge the longest.
This
dummy was enjoying the graffiti across the street when I came along.
I had to include my husband for
faux, since that's what he does all day!
Every
Sunday, we have a BBQ in the front yard and watch the kids play.
Today, I went with my son's class on a field trip to the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Park. Most of the kids found the cow with a hole in it's stomach
intimidating, but it didn't seem to bother the baby
too much.
Our family has a lot to
celebrate. My step-son and his wife welcomed their first child into the world today, making me a GRANDMA!! Her name is Madison Michele and she is just five pounds. What a cutie!
There is so much craziness in the world today. I looked at her little face, so innocent and trusting and my heart overflowed with emotion. In
the end, love is all that matters.
