Deep and Pink

By ClassyShots written 4/9/06 2:40 PM, published 4/9/06 2:40 PM

I bought another lens and have been wanting to play with it. It's a Canon 50mm F 1.4. That's right!! A fixed 50mm and not a zoom. You have to move the camera to frame things and not just twist the lens. On the small frame Canon's it is equal to an 80mm and a great lens for low light and shooting shallow DOF shots. It is also the lowest priced lens in the Canon line at under $100 with shipping. I think I ended up paying about $80 with freight.

Anyway I wanted to try for a deep and not a shallow DOF on this shot so what you have is ISO 100, F 22 and a 1/6th second exposure with natural light. And Popup LinkThe Results...

See, it was safe to look.
