A delicate  ROse 

There is a rose sale going on in town, so MsQ went out and bought some for the house.
I got a photo opportunity.  A close up of her favorite color.  I've decided that I can't get what I want with what I got, but I'll keep trying.  This one I played around with in Photo-shop, I call it floating roses. (thumb)

My mother got some of the prettiest roses for Mother's Day yesterday. I think that they are just fantastic.

I guess until school gets done, I will only have Sunday to work on my fun stuff - like Photographica. I miss you guys and look forward to chatting with some of you this summer during down time.

While the prime rose picture taking time has pass, I managed to find a few last weekend.

 A nice little bud.
  A red one.
   And an orange one.

I do think I'll go back next year at a better time.

I didn't get any pics of the third one.  Funny how they had the same colors.  I love doing wedding flowers!!  It is a great thing being part of someones big day!

   When I first developed this picture I was like, "WHOA! This looks a lot like one of Tim Burton's film projects." If you've ever seen any of his work (Nightmare before Christmas or Corpse Bride) you would probably agree with me!

I have been many places...done many things, but nothing matches the times I have spent in a blind waiting for that one Shot that will make you front cover of a magazine. Then there are times I have been wet and cold waiting for that one Subject to show it's self. Even when the snow is waist deep and you are thinking...Why am I out here? Just then a subject Pops Up and brings a smile to your face. But there have been much better times that I have spent in the great outdoors. When I feel down and  Blue or in Tears I still get the shot. I find times in my life when I find that one shot that fills my body with tears of  Happiness. After a long day of shooting I go home to my  Family and share with them what I have seen. But I will always take the time to watch the Sun Set. So let your emotions flow and find that shot that will make you smile.

I took this picture about 5 months ago in the Rose Garden at Chico State. Rose
