A delicate ROse
Visit to a rose garden

On a recent trip, I stopped at a rose garden.
Here are a few shots I took.
Slide show of roses
Roses

There is a rose sale going on in town, so MsQ went out and bought some for the house.
I got a photo opportunity. A close up of her favorite color. I've decided that I can't get what I want with what I got, but I'll keep trying. This one I played around with in Photo-shop, I call it floating roses. (thumb)
CAUTION Flowers
Red and Yellow...

My mother got some of the prettiest roses for Mother's Day yesterday. I think that they are just fantastic.
I hope all Mothers had a special day yesterday.
Sunday Fun...

I guess until school gets done, I will only have Sunday to work on my fun stuff - like Photographica. I miss you guys and look forward to chatting with some of you this summer during down time.
Here is one for the challenge:Blue Sky Reflected
These are bonus shots one taken at Sunday Brunch and the other in the courtyard at school.
Roses
While the prime rose picture taking time has pass, I managed to find a few last weekend.
A group of three.
A nice little bud.
A red one.
And an orange one.
I do think I'll go back next year at a better time.
Work Last Weekend...
The Classic of a Rose

When I first developed this picture I was like, "WHOA! This looks a lot like one of Tim Burton's film projects." If you've ever seen any of his work (Nightmare before Christmas or Corpse Bride) you would probably agree with me!
Best of Times!

I have been many places...done many things, but nothing matches the times I have spent in a blind waiting for that one
Shot that will make you front cover of a magazine. Then there are times I have been wet and cold waiting for that one
Subject to show it's self. Even when the snow is waist deep and you are thinking...Why am I out here? Just then a subject
Pops Up and brings a smile to your face. But there have been much better times that I have spent in the great outdoors. When I feel down and
Blue or in
Tears I still get the shot. I find times in my life when I find that one shot that fills my body with tears of
Happiness. After a long day of shooting I go home to my
Family and share with them what I have seen. But I will always take the time to watch the
Sun
Set. So let your emotions flow and find that shot that will make you smile.

This Bud's for you.....
I have turned a new leaf....
Or at least I am trying... I have seen so many great shots here on Photographica that I thought I would attempt to show that even a surfer has a bit of class...
I liked this shot and thought you would too..
and then I played with it a bit...
This dosn't mean that the surf photos will stop... just waiting for that perfect wave..

I worked on three weddings last week. I thought I would share them with you.
Okay, here is my attempt at texture...tell me what you think...(they really arent the greatest but ...I tried).
Roses are always worth photographing
