NYC attractions and me  With the Rock .... ;)

South Coyote Buttes are part of Coxcomb Ridge, an area south of US 89 between Kanab, Utah and Page, Arizona. The buttes are reached by House Rock Valley Road which links US 89 with ALT-US 89, south of the Vermilion Cliffs in Arizona, and all are contained within both the Paria Canyon-Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness and the Vermilion Cliffs National Monument. Requiring 4WD vehicles and permits, it's well worth the effort to walk in Paw Hole.

Wim and I live in a condo which is good for two working people, but then you also have the rules of the condo association to live with.  Here are a few of the signs we see on the common greens.  We are greeted with a speed limit sign and a reminder to sales people which we don't mind.  There is a tennis court for us to use, but you see very few people on it.   We have a little play area for the children, but we have a private property sign because community children were using it (I don't see why they can't.)  There is a odd number sign to help you find places.  
By the mailboxes there is a parking sign so that people can get to there boxes.  And so that in case of a fire, we have a  hydrant sign so that the firemen can find the hydrant which is hidden by the bushes.

While driving down the road early this afternoon -  
I noticed a gentleman taking photos of his wife. Feeling impulsive I made a U - turn.
Walked up and excused myself...saying, "Would you like me to take a photo of the two of you?"
(so they can both be in the shot)

You can come by rail, road or water (just be careful when you drive some people are still learning.

You will see curious livestock, shy horses and well kept barns.  Some older barns as well.  

There is a lot to do at St. Joe Park.  Being the bible belt there are also places to worship.  If you feel like shopping, you can do that, too.  

We are simple folks, so don't be put off by our mansions.  And our roots are from mining, so just ignore the chat pile you see from the interstate.

These are my daughter's photos; she is more in tune with the word and image theme than I am. A few weeks ago, someone asked to see her work to determine if it is better than mine. Usually. These are all traditional black and whites, self-developed and printed in the darkroom. I managed to convince my her that scanning a few to create digital files was not like "selling your soul."
