I love the way light plays in fog. On a recent trip to Hong Kong, I tried to capture the reasons for my enthusiasm. I took a cruise in the harbor. For Popup Linkothers the harbor was the destination.A times, it seemed the horizon was a giant bejeweled Popup Linkbracelet, and I had to get a Popup Linkcloser look. Popup LinkSanta Claus likes it here too, and you can see him year round. I wondered at the modern Popup Linkspire reaching through the clouds. I had to see what this beautiful land must look like from Popup Linkup  Popup Linkabove.

It's been a while since I've posted. . . the end of the school year always buries me under a mound of paperwork. I finally had the chance to get loose today and took some photos of the Houston skyline from Memorial Drive. ...is the reason I shot a whole series of pictures of Columbus Avenue in San Francisco, which passes through the Financial District, Jackson Square, Chinatown, Manilatown, North Beach and Fisherman's Wharf. This complicated shot of Popup LinkColumbus and Green from Saturday, July 17, 2004, 6:40am under golden light conditions even has a Whoopi Goldberg tab.
