Australian Track Titles
I attended the Australian Cycling Track titles during the week in Sydney. I had to play with the settings regularly to get consistent results. I need a much faster tele lens!! Current Olympic mens sprint champion Ryan Bailey (racing in black) was in action. Sprint_RacingUnfortunately, he had a dramatic crash. Champ_Crashes
There was plenty of great close racing taking place with spots for the Beijing Olympic Games on offer. Here_I_Come Looking_Ahead
The Teams Pursuit is also a favourite event of mine to watch. Two teams line up on opposite sides of the track and race each other. The race can be won if the last rider of the other team is caught by the pursuing team, otherwise it is determined over a distance. The lead rider leads the team for a lap and then he swings up high on the bank before rejoining the end of the train. NSW_Pursuit_1 WA_Pursuit
I particularly enjoyed the AWD tandem class (Athletes With Disabilities). The rear cyclist is blind and is guided by the lead cyclist known as the Pilot.

A BIT OF WHIMSY
This collection of shots for the most part seems a bit offbeat, but perhaps interesting enough for a smile or two.

Summer Pro League
Hi Guys,Here are some photos with my new camera. The event is called the NBA's Summer Pro League at CSULB in the Pyramid. The D200 is so much better than the D70. It is well worth the price.

Back After A Looooong Time... Forgive The Bombardment Of Images.
Well shutterbugs, I'm logged back in here after having not visited for months (close to half a year, if not over that, i think). So I hope you'll all forgive me for posting a whole buncha pics to feast your eyes on (hey... I probably won't be posting again in a while anyways). So, all I can say is that it's good to be sharing again. So enough of the talk and on to the photographs. I've catergorized them into...Portraits of the self and of friends:
Also did Cinematography work some months back for an indipendent, full-length film entitled "Lambanog". Here are my studio-snaps of the cast:

Take Me Out To The Ballgame
Triathlon
We went to watch the Lifetime Fitness Triathlon this weekend. For those of you not familiar with the triathlon, the competition involves a swim of 1.5K, a bike ride of 40K and a 10K run. Talk about a display of
Maybe one day I will participate but for now, I play the observer role next to this

A Day at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin
Our son and his family are visiting from Seattle, Washington. He wanted to take his boys, Packer fans both, to see the "Shrine" here in Wisconsin. Our trip took us through Sheboygan, WI which touts to have the
tallest U.S.flagpole in the country. It tops out at 338 feet, and has a 300 pound flag at its top.
Now for the assignment. Doors? And Windows through which we can see wonderful things?
How about the
Packers Pro Shop windows? Or Head Coach Mike Sherman's office window
over looking the Vince Lombardi statue? Or the windows in the
elevator that took us to new heights? It was here that we saw
windows through a window.
These are the
doors through which the greatest fans in the world walk. Have you ever wondered how it would feel to run out onto Lambeau Field through the
tunnel (door)? A quick trip around the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame led us to these beautiful
Lombardi Trophies and Championship rings encased in cylindrical windows.
Then it was out the
doors beyond the reflecting floor and after one last look at
at the flag over Lambeau Field we were off for home.
Late dominant colour entry... very late
Was just going through some pics in my "to-do" pile, and was playing around with the Does it look too photoshopped?
