I revisited Groningen -the city where I work- for the challenge this time.
Groningen with her 42.000 students is one of the biggest city of knowledge in Nederland.
The main city transportation is of course the bicycle
The Railway Station is renovated 4 or 5 years ago. it has a beautiful ceiling

Opposite the station there is a contenporer Museum

This Iron Lady has been keeping an eye on her city for many years.

I am serving as a mentor for our church confirmation class.  Today we had a retreat that was on the topic of "Images of Jesus."  The student I'm mentoring is a photographer, so when it came time to view and discuss the stained glass windows in the sanctuary we shot photos.  Below are several shots I took.  I was amazed at the amount of symbolism in these windows.  If you study them closely you'll see some amazing things.  I was tempted to just zoom in on small sections.  I may play around with that some.

I had a great chance to try and catch a great lighting shot,this is the best one out of twenty. Also managed to grab a few pics of a beautiful stained glass window .

My girlfriend's sister got married this past weekend.
At one point during the ceremony, the groom's father
was up on the balcony singing a song,
and behind him was this beautiful stained glass window.
While this isn't the result I was trying for,
it is quite nice to look at, wouldn't you agree?
