Out and About With My Pal

By Otter written 9/4/06 7:08 PM, published 9/4/06 7:08 PM
Nothing to do on Sunday, and it was a beautiful day in Chicagoland... I got my Pal (The Rebel) and my driver (The Spouse) and went to find a garden that I had seen at lunch time on Friday.

Then we all went to see what else we could find:

We ended up at a special place that we had only seen signs for, (on I-55) but had never stopped to see. Lincoln National Cemetary:

Change is good

Well, were getting close to the end of summer and along with that sad truth the reality of change. To gain is sometimes to lose..for the youth..to go on with their lives and grow, they must at this time put away some of there freedoms of summer..like swimming anytime you want.Popup LinkWhat's that. Even nature around us must give to the power of change...in nature theres no life without death. Popup LinkDead Seeds. Even sleep and darkness can't delay the train of death for nature. Popup LinkDeath at Night.
But for myself I look forward to the change of seasons, for lots of reasons..cooler temperatures, no more haze in our landscape shots and knowing that soon our cayon we drive by to go to Chico from Paradise will soon be totality filled with green. So as nice as it is in this picture of how it looks today. Popup Linkcanyon. Like all things, God works them out for the best in his timing. On the flip side this piture reminded me of a un-God like movie..can you guess..
PS. sorry the pic of "Death at night" didn't show up as well as it did before I uploaded...what the hey!  Time to...Popup LinkGuess
