Spent Mother's Day camping at the beach in San Clemente.  Here's the obligatory surfer shot.  Down in San Clemente they have a train whose tracks run right along the beach.  Here's nice sunset shot.  And Mother's Day would not be complete without some flowers.  Enjoy!

i've been trying to get some good reflection shots and work is boring so i have been trying to kill time.  i wasn't completely satisfied with my reflection shots, but i did get a couple that were okay.  mark's car gave me a decent reflection of the street out front.  then  waiting for photographica download came out pretty cool.  
i killed some more time by taking a shot of my desk.  outside when coming back from lunch, i shot the railroad tracks.  
time to go home and got caught by the damn  train.  one last shot of the  waterfall near work didn't turn out the reflection i was looking for as it was hazy and began to rain as soon as i got out of the truck to take it.

Sunday found me wandering the byways of West Georgia towards Augusta.  Checking out the small towns (many dying) along the way.  I haven't had time to look through everything, but this is my favorite.

My best friend Louis and I take a trip every year somewhere in the world.  A few years ago it was Ocktober fest in  Munich, Germany.   It was an amazing time, we saw the Glockenspeil, some great architecture and definitely some interesting historical sights like the Hofbrauhaus.  But we were there for Ocktoberfest.  The first sign were getting close was this crazy Horse ... around the corner from that was the Lowenbrau House located at the heart of the festival.  You'd never believe it but this is 9 o'clock AM and over 15K people are drinking!!!!  So, in all honesty se decided to go on a binge.  Well, that certainly deserves a
CHEERS! don't you think.
Next it was on a train going to Prague home of the famous Charles Bridge and great architecture street 1, street 2, square.   There were some absolutely beautiful colors , windows, statues,  flowers, trees and cars?
On the journey we met a friend Barb who took us through acorridor and up this incredibly long stairwell  to see an awesome  Church.   After that hike we went for a drink overlooking the squarefrom before.  We jumped a train to Amsterdam and as soon as we got there it was straight to a coffee shop where all memories where lost.

Thank god I have a camera.

Here I am as a baby. Here it's  1980 don't I look kool. Sometimes I can be funny or just plain crazy. Sometimes I go  blond or I go blad. I got married in 1985 . We have a beautiful daughter Ashley.Sometimes I have to wear   reading glasses while workin on my computer. Here's a pic of  my daughter & I . I once took a trip on a train. Went to IL yesterday to visit family.  At my brother-in-laws cabin in the woods, I noticed this in the creek.  Walking around back, I found a modern  outhouse.
Later in the day, there was a storm brewing; here's a couple of shots of the  clouds,  2,  3.
I noticed this yesterday on the way over, so coming back home today I got what shots I could from the vehicle (no, I wasn't driving!) of the  train derailment on I 55 from last week.  Sorry I didn't get better shots of this; hard to do from the truck, though.  Hope y'all enjoy!
