I saw this reflection of the trees and thouught of the challenge.   Tree Reflections

Last night my family were all out doing their things, so I took myself to the Elk Park, it was an enjoyable evening.  Not happy with the photos I took, but I still had a nice time.   This is the first view when you  come into the park, it is so pretty.   Tree with Lake

Thanks for looking, hope you are having a nice weekend.  :o)

Challenge ~ Trees

By RobinG written 8/1/08 2:23 PM, published 8/1/08 2:23 PM

My contribution to the challenge.  I have a green apple tree.  Its only about 12 years old and hasn't had lots of apples in the past.  This year it has gone crazy. I am guessing to the over abundance of water we have had.  Although I am noticing this week the leaves are turning brown and falling off.  Hope it will survive.  Here are some shots of it.

One Sunday morning at church my brother-in-law asked if I had my camera with me--and of course I did--he had just past a group of birds and wanted to to try and take pics of them, this is just one of them...My lonely entry for  Tree  theme...

On my way home one night stopped in town and took several pic of the Courthouse , this one is the best of all that I took...

I wasn't able to preview this time, is that normal now?

Thanks for looking...

Foggy Tree Silhouette for the Tree Challenge

Here's one I took a while back.  It was taken on a foggy morning walk on a nearby golf course.  Thought it would be a good one for the challenge.

In My Flower Beds (Not about the flowers)

By Penny written 7/22/08 6:06 PM, published 7/22/08 6:07 PM

As I was uploading these shots I was watching my Orioles at my feeder.  Until this year I had never seen the whole oriole family at my feeder at one time.  I had the male & female and three juveniles on it at one time.  I couldn't get my camera quick enough to get a shot....dang it....  But here are some shots of a baby on the feeder.  It was funny watching them come to the feeder for the first time.  They weren't quite sure how it worked.  1   2   3   4

These shots were taken the same day as the oriole shots.  5  6  7  8

Now this shot I know is not great by any means but I thought it was funny.  This little guy was sooooo tiny and it just looked funny to me.  So here it is....

Yep, it's a bloom but it's texture makes it different than most.  Use "Control N" on Texture 2 to see the entire image.

4 pm gmt= 12 noon indiana ( i hope)

By lefteyeblind written 8/26/06 9:40 AM, published 8/26/06 9:40 AM

around noon, i was getting estimates for cutting the half dead tree in the front of our house down.  $225 for the dead limbs, $400 for the whole tree.  the main branch is hollow and a strong wind could knock it right onto our house.

I drove out to Caney Mtn today to look for critters.  All I saw was the backside of a big badger as he was running the other direction!  But I did see Popup LinkThis Sign, so I stopped to look, and here is the Popup LinkBlack Gum Tree , and yeah, it was big!

I had better luck with the critters when I got home and found this Popup LinkLittle Spotted Fawn right next to my own driveway.  Actually there were twin fawns and Mama close by, but this one was the only one that wasn't camera shy!

And just for fun... when the Sun went down tonight...I thought I saw Popup LinkGroucho Glasses !  What do you think?  Maybe this heat is getting to me!!!
