Last weekend, my girlfriend, my dogs, and I took a walk in Discovery Park. It has become a favorite of ours (though we have only been there twice) because it is so beautiful. It's amazing something like this can exist in the middle of a city! Of course I brought my camera...

Observations: All in all, I was disappointed with my lighthouse shots. Here all the while I though you were susposed to center your subject. After reading some books - NO! You generally want your subjects to line up on 1/3 lines like this.^*. Now that I look them over, they were way too centered, and thus made boring where there is so much cool stuff to get in the pictures as well. When go back, I want to have the lighthouse on the right and have 2/3's of the picture include the mountains & sailboats.
