After viewing your photos for a coupla years I've finally decided to get my feet wet.  I recently became unemployed and you can only spend soooo much time looking for new employment.  I hope I can figure out the correct links.

I understand this photo is not very good, but it is meaningful to me.  While visiting my mother in NW Missouri I came across this new nesting pair @ Squaw Creek near Mound City, MO.  During migration season in December I've seen as many as 100 adult and 70 to 80 immature eagles in this area.  As far as I can ascertain this is only the 2nd nesting pair in the area. New nesting pair -- Squaw Creek 4-08 

Due to the system difficulties this is about my 10th try to get this saved. 8-) I hope it comes out alright.

I went out to the park to shoot some flower closeups. As there was a light wind, I was limited in what I could shoot. Anyway, here is one of the non-swaying ones (bloom)for the challenge.

As far as the top 3 part of it goes, it's hard to narrow down. You like different shots for different reasons. Here are 3 of my favorites that were posted here once before.

1. Firewater was taken in a 5 minute time period when the light hit just right.
   
2. window light is inside of the Currituck lighthouse on the NC outerbanks. I just like the feel of it.
   
3. Mtn. stream Again, I just like the feel it has to it.

Here is a shot that I was messing around with to finish up the roll before processing (What is it?) Any idea?

Barb stopped at CVS to pick up a prescription after work so I walked around the block while I waited.  I saw some interesting stuff and a couple signs.

On Friday our entire family went to Anna's kindergarten class to help them celebrate Chinese New Year.  First the kids had a snack of tangerines, which are supposed to bring good luck and money.  We read a book that told the kids about Chinese New Year.  Then, each child made a paper lantern. Anna wore a new Chinese outfit. The lanterns turned out nice.  Afterward the kids from Anna's class were showing off their lanterns to the kids from other classes.

On another note, Priscilla and I had a getaway evening at the Nicollet Island Inn last night.  I shot this picture out the window on the third floor landing.

 Now for what I did today..first I went out and saw a little nature.Butterfly. Then I went downtown and saw a scary site. Ghost Shoppers. And then they spead off to  a midnight sale else where.Green Light. And I can't forget to post my daughter's dress up shotDress-up. And our super hero stopped by to say hello Spiderkid. I love spiderkid, he helps me escape from my room without a view everyday so I can walk in the freedom of the day.Window

While walking around town, I spotted this window .

I was walking down Water Street and saw these little ducklings swimming happily in front of momma duck and thought they looked cute.  Oddly, it wasn't until after I saw the photo that I realized that I captured more of the reflected window than I realized.  I think it would qualify as my submission for the current "contest"
