Toughest job

This ancient tannery in the old town Fes, Morocco is older than 600 years old,
it is almost not possible to find it without the help of a local guide.

I was not sure how I felt when I was there, guilty for what those people go through everyday?
Ashamed that I took these photos?

Only after we purchased our 1st digital camera a little over 2 years ago did I become interested in photography and just recently when I was asked to take candids at a cousin's wedding Popup LinkBride I realized how little I actually know about camera settings and working with different lighting situations.  I have already learned much just by reading your comments about the pictures posted here andlook forward to hearing what everyone has to say - positive or not - about the photos that I have to post.

As usual, I was busy keeping up with Popup Linkdeadlines yesterday, just Popup Linkworking my little heart out.  I find that I easly get Popup Linkdistracted, especially at Popup Linkpretty colors.
So I took a walk outside the plant and saw Popup Linkthis Popup Linkloon at the pond by the plant.  I think he went a little TOO far South for winter.  And all this time, I thought the only Loons in Missouri were inside the plant.

Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's Off to Work I Go

By jojames1 written 8/24/05 12:36 PM, published 8/24/05 12:36 PM
I don't normally talk about work, but I was assigned to take pictures of an Popup Linkaward presentation yesterday.  I found the picture to be quite BORING!

So I took home the Popup Linkactual award and took some studio photos.  I, then, Popup LinkPhotoshopped to make it a little more interesting.

Not to think I'm all about work...last week a friend of mine for got to ask me to lunch.  I got my Popup Linkrevenge by destroying her desk.  I then stalked her Popup Linkpaparazzi style to get her expression.  I loved the expression so much, I had to photoshop it
Popup Linkas well.  It's not great...but you get the idea.  I then threw in a pic of me and my Popup Linkco-conspirator.

Weird Work Photos

By jojames1 written 8/2/05 6:31 AM, published 8/2/05 6:31 AM

Here are some odd photos from work.  We make plastic injection molded parts.  (Code for we make stuff out of plastic.)  Here is some Popup Linkraw material.  Basically little bb's of clear acrylic that are heated up and pushed through a mold.  The molds generally make more than one piece at a time.  They are connected by "runners".  These useless pieces of plastic are clipped, and  Popup Linkrecycled.  The last photo was of ABS plastic (a more durable grey/black material).
