    Started with a German rangefinder 35mm when about 9 years old. Still have it.

    Early Seventies with a Minolta 35. Then somebody wanted it more than me. Violating the Volvo to get at it.

    I then moved up to the Contax system RTS late seventies.  A truly lovely machine. It sits here well guarded.

    About Christmas 01 the digital scene started with a Canon's G5,
    And then April 06 to Canon's Eos 30D.
    Now the torture of acquiring lenses.
    L Glass is accumulating.
    There's likely more to come.
    The entire process now handled with a new Powerbook maxed out extreme. Apple has been good to me. Compared to the PC's gathering dust.

    Daily discoveries are endless now when we are this connected.

    An annual huge event with friends in the late 70's as we boarded the party ship, one was in charge of handing out nick names. I was handed the name Ansel Adam's.
    Never even knew the guy then. How Bazaar.
