    It was only fairly recently that I became interesed in photography.  I got a nice point & shoot camera (Panasonic Lumix FZ5) about a year and a half ago, and just started playing around with it.  There were some limitations with that camera that I didn't like, so my wife and I got ourselves an early Xmas present this year: a Nikon D80.  I love that camera!!!  We're planning to take some photography classes together in the coming year.

  • Artist's Statement

    I've never been the type who takes many 'people' photos.  Lining people up in front of something scenic just to show "we were there!" doesn't do it for me.  My wife, on the other hand, shoulders the responsibility of taking those "we were there" photos, so we have plenty for the family album!
    I like to shoot scenery, and I love to capture all the colors that nature provides.  My Nikon D80 is perfect for that, since the color reprodution is awesome.  I'm starting to play around with other subjects, like my cat, and ordinary household objects, trying to put an artistic spin on them.  We'll see what happens!
